ACE Quiz Bowl Camps

Even though the summer of 2011 was our first year at the University of Illinois, with more than 200 coaches and players it was the largest camp of the summer and one of the largest in our 18 year history. We are looking forward to growing even larger this summer and making Illinois a permanent fixture of our camp schedule.

GETTING TO CAMPUS

Urbana-Champaign is located at the confluence of Interstates 57, 74, and 72, making it easily accessible from much of the country. For detailed driving directions to our University of Illinois site, enter your address below.

For students flying to camp, the university is served by Willard Airport (CMI). More flight options are also available through Bloomington-Normal (BMI), Indianapolis (IND) and Chicago O’Hare (ORD). Insurance restrictions prevent us from providing airport transfers directly, but there are several services that provide these transfers.
Both LEX and ILLINI SHUTTLE provide shuttle service from O’Hare to UIUC. LEX also provides transfers from IND and BMI. If you’re flying into CMI,
campus is a short 5-10 minute taxi ride away.

Please double check services and times before booking. Check-in/Check-out will be at the Florida Avenue Residence Halls (FAR/PAR).

ON CAMPUS

ACE campers stay in the Florida Avenue Residence Halls, a dorm tower complex on the corner of Florida and Lincoln Avenues in Urbana.

Rooms are traditional doubles with a hall bath. We assign roommates, though we’ll do our best to honor rooming requests.
















The dining hall is located in the dorm complex, with all-you-can-eat cafeteria-style meals. There are a wide-variety of food options for each meal. Vegetarian or other special dietary needs? Let us know before camp, and we’ll make sure it’s taken care of.

PRICING

Our fees are the same for all three camps and include room, board, instruction, and all competition fees. Campers wishing to order an “ACE Kit” (T-shirt, Backpack, Pens, Highlighters, and Notebook) may do so for an additional $15.
