About Ace Quiz Bowl Camps

dsc00823-400Since 1994, Academic Competition Enterprises has been hosting camps for academic quiz players. Over the years, we have worked with thousands of students, including hundreds of state champions, dozens of national champions, and thirteen Jeopardy! contestants.

Through a time-tested method of quizbowl-specific classroom instruction, buzzer practice, and nightly tournaments, we work to improve a student’s knowledge base.

Whether it’s a middle school student who has never seen a buzzer or a senior looking to lead his team to a National Championship, our experienced staff of coaches will see to it that every student makes significant improvement, resulting in real success for your quizbowl team.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At ACE, we believe that the key to becoming a better quizbowl player, is learning more information. Every activity at ACE, from classes, to practices, to tournaments revolves around helping campers to learn more quizbowl-relevant information.

Faculty

We hire teachers who are not only experts in their content, but who are experts in quizbowl. Our faculty includes some of the most successful high school coaches and some of the best college quizbowl players from across the country, representing hundreds of years of collective experience. You can be assured that you will not only get great instruction at ACE Quizbowl Camp, but you will get quizbowl-relevant instruction as well.

The ratio of campers to faculty generally runs 8 to 1.
